Inventor Sheet Metal Bend Relief

The coolest part about this bend option inside of the face command is that it eliminates the need to create a separate bend feature between 2 existing faces.

Inventor sheet metal bend relief. Add a double bend to a sheet metal face. You can also specify the relief size and whether to apply auto mitering. Override sheet metal style settings for corner shape and relief. Here you can adjust the relief shape bend transition and relief dimensions.

Select a model edge on each sheet metal face. Click the down arrow to select measure show dimensions or list parameters to enter a different value. Enter a bend radius if it is different from the default for the part. You can specify the corner relief shape for a 2 or 3 bend corner.
