Is It Legal To Sit On Your Roof At Night

I m assuming for the sake of this answer the hypothetical roof sitter is not doing anything else such as using illegal drugs drinking underage threatening suicide etc.

Is it legal to sit on your roof at night. There were four of us on it and it was the roof above the porch in the front of the house. Are we putting ourselves through the trouble for nothing. Is it legal to sit on your roof in ohio. No not unless it was designed for residential use and approved by the buildings department for residents to use.

We have two windows that lead out directly to the roof and we walk around to the back of the house where no one can see us.
