Updated 06 22 2020 by chad whitney. Jayco has had many customers receive their travel trailers that are pre wired for solar or solar ready. The cable entry plate is sometimes at one end of the trailer or motorhome and after additional equipment is installed the ideal solar panel location is across the entire roof. The rvs are either using a portable solar connector on the side of the rv or they installed a go power cable entry plate on the roof.

Rv s equipped with solar on the side are outfitted with an sae solar port where you can quickly and easily plug in a portable solar panel. Through their learning center you are able to educate yourself on why going solar is the next rave and how to do so with ease. What i mean by that statement is the trailer is not wired for any solar panels nor can the roof support the weight of the solar panels.
